Scientific Oasis - Association for Engineering, Decision Making, and Operational Research was established in 2014 as the European Centre for Operational Research (ECOR), operating under the umbrella of the Regional Association for Security and Crisis Management (RABEK). In 2023, ECOR became an independent association and was renamed Scientific Oasis (SCIO Association).

SCIO association was founded in 2014 by prominent international scientists and university professors.

The International Journal of Economic Sciences is annually classified by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia .
